As the British House of Lords debates same-sex marriage, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg pens an opinion in The Guardian advocating for it. Bloomberg says “it is consistent with democracy’s promise of equal rights for all people.” He also argues that could also encourage businesses to come to the UK, saying, “freedom attracts talent.”
